- Description: The Family Crisis Center has advocates specially trained to assist victims of domestic violence navigate the process of obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order. Our Legal Advocates can assist you in obtaining a temporary restraining order (TRO) to protect you, your children and even your pets. We can accompany you to court and help you navigate the civil court system. Advocates are also available to accompany you within the criminal justice system when a domestic violence crime has been committed against you. also provide court accompaniment as a support person.
